Welcome to our house! I (Vanessa) personally welcome you home. My tane (Grégory) has his own job outside. We have two boys, Ewen and Aaron. The family is very happy to introduce you to the Moorea Painapo Lodge pension. Our little corner of paradise where Polynesian culture, sharing and authenticity mingle.
A welcome cocktail will be offered on the evening of your arrival.
Moorea Painapo Lodge
A holiday in Moorea is above all the happiness of « living in the Polynesian ». With its private access to white sand, our little paradise will bring you a perfect change of scenery at the edge of the lagoon. You will enjoy the calm and serenity of the place with its large pool (4m x 9m), tropical garden and activities included.

– Reception : 7h30-11h30 14h-18h
I’m available on these hours to inform you! I’m absent during school time to take and pick up my children from school. Thank you for your understanding.
– Arrival / departure : check-in 14h / check-out 10h
– swimming-pool : 7h30-18h30 (children are the responsibility of parents).
The Fare and bedroom :
The Fare Motu (20m2) of Pension Moorea Painapo Lodge is equipped to cook and bring you all the comforts for a pleasant stay (air blower, coffee maker, microwave, hotplates). It have a private bathroom with toilet.
The guest room (12m2) is air conditioned and equipped with a refrigerator and a private bathroom with toilet. It has an outdoor space for cooking.
Sheets and towels are provided. Toiletries are also available (oil, salt, pepper, coffee, tea, dish soap, body soap). You also have a bottle of fresh water and a gallon of spring water (and more available on request during your stay).
Please WASH and STORE the dishes, EMPTY and CLEAN the fridge before you leave.
Our Fare are located in a lush garden of fruit trees, flowers and shrubs of Polynesia.
Location
Ideally located south of the island of Moorea, the Moorea Painapo Lodge is PK17,5 (kilometer point) 13,5kms from the dock of Vaiare and 17,5kms from Temae airport. The city of Atiha is famous for its surf spot, advice to fans!
Upon arrival in Moorea by boat / plane you can go to the pension Moorea Painapo Lodge by taxi, renting a car or taking the public bus that provides service throughout the island.

One food store 5 minutes to stock up.
Several trailers and a restaurant within a radius of 5-10 kilometers offering Polynesian, Chinese and grilled cuisine.
Moorea Grill, Snack Autea, Restaurant Arii, Family Pizza..
Some offer take-out meals and even deliver to the pension (ex: @familypizza)
Your luggage
Travel light! Think of sunscreen, cap, sunglasses, mosquito repellent, 3-4 shorts and t-shirts, 2 swimsuits, pareo, flip-flops (= slippers in Polynesia), beach towel and camera;)

Fare Motu (2 to 3 people)
14900xpf / night (two nights minimum).
The Tiare guest room (2 persons):
9900xpf / night (two nights minimum).
Breakfast (only on reservation 24h in advance) :
It includes : a local fruit juice, bread, butter, local jam, a hot drink ( tea, chocolate, coffee or milk), local fresh fruit, a pastry.
The rate is 1800xpf / person, 900xpf / children <12 years old.
It is served at the room or at the Fare.
Prices 2023
Tourist tax:
60xpf / night / person for adults and children 12 years old and over.

Reservation and cancellation conditions:
50% deposit on booking (non refundable, dates modifiable according to availability)
Laundry service:
On request, possibility of washing your linen (price of 1100 xpf / tour). Provision of a drying rack, ironing board and iron at the reception after using the laundry service.

Free activities at Moorea Painapo Lodge :
– New !! A kayak that can accommodate two adults and a child (under 50kg) available!
– Bicycles are loaned to you to discover the island of Moorea at your own pace.
– We lend full face masks to enjoy the lagoon from the pension.
– The petanque is a local sport! We lend you balls.
– A barbecue is free access in the garden of the pension.
– The pool invites you to a moment of relaxation.

To do in Moorea:
- Many hikes are accessible to everyone in Moorea. We can guide you.
- Visit and tasting at the Rotui juice factory, Manutea.
- Go up to the Oponohu Belvedere and stroll through the pineapple fields.
- Go on an outing to see the whales (July to November).
- The Temae Golf (Moore Green Pearl) offers initiations and the discovery of its superb course signed Jack Nicklaus.

– Moorea Tiki Tour boat excursion (guided tour of the 2 bays, site of the submerged Tikis, picnic or barbecue in the lagoon at Motu.

FAQs
1 – What is the tourist tax?
This is a tax (deliberation n°79/2018 of August 09, 2018) collected by the tourist accommodation provider to be paid to the Municipality of Moorea-Maiao. Its price is 60 xpf per night, per person aged 12 and over.
2 – Where is the pension located?

3 – How many people can you accommodate?
I can accommodate 5 people in total (no extra baby) – in accordance with my declaration to the Tourism Department (Fare Motu 3 people maximum, Tiare guest room 2 people maximum).
4 – What are the 2023 prices?
Fare Motu: 14900 xpf/night – 2 nights minimum
Tiare room: 9900 xpf/night – 2 nights minimum
1000 xpf extra for one night only.
I apply -20% from 4 nights booked on the stay.
Breakfast is 1800 xpf/adult and 900 xpf for children from 3 to 11 years old.
5 – What are the check-in/check-out times:
Check-in at 2 p.m., possibility until 6 p.m. to be agreed together.
Check-out at 10 a.m. at the latest.
6 – How can I book?
Directly by email to mooreapainapolodge@com or by Messenger on the Facebook page indicating name first name telephone number, number of people, dates and accommodation desired, or on AirBnB.
7 – Can we use the swimming pool?
Yes, after showering and rinsing your feet in the shower behind the pool 😉 Its access is free from 7:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. It is to be shared with the other guests and my family 🙂
8 – What method of payment do you accept?
Payment of 50% deposit upon booking (non-refundable) by bank transfer. The balance is payable no later than the day before arrival by bank transfer, or upon arrival in cash (Pacific francs). I do not take credit cards, € or $.
9 – Can I have pictures?
They are available on Facebook in the “photos” tab, on my website www.mooreapainapolodge@gmail.com or on AirBnB.
10 – Do you accept pets?
No, animals are not accepted. We have two cats and two dogs there.
